Orthotics are medical devices prescribed by podiatrists to assist in reducing pain of the feet, knees and back.

Orthotics can assist to either accommodate or offload specific areas of the feet which required correction as they are associated in causing pain and discomfort.

Orthotic devices may be prescribed to re- align the feet to a more optimal position which may assist in reducing heel pain, arch pain, toe and joint pain as well as shin pain.

There are a range of devices your podiatrist may prescribe and are suggested based on findings from a biomechanical assessment performed by your podiatrist. Devices are also suggested by considering specific factors individual to each patient including shoe fit, recreational activities, occupational requirements, required periods of wearing and changes noted in the feet.

Our custom devices are specifically moulded to your foot via negative impression casting to ensure an accurate and precise device can be made.
